DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER PROGRAMMING
The Computer Programming Department provides education and conducts research on the structure and development of computer systems and effective use methods of these systems. It is very important to train computer programmers equipped with contemporary theoretical and practical knowledge in these subjects in order for them to take their place in the software sector.
The associate degree education provided in the Computer Programming Department is 2 years.
In the first year, there are mainly basic computer programming courses such as basic algorithms and programming, data structures, mathematics, computer hardware. In the following year, in addition to the courses on Object Oriented Programming and Internet Programming and Databases, with the aim of enabling students to direct themselves to software or hardware subjects or different areas of computer programming. In addition, there are also useful non-technical elective courses that may be required for computer programmers.
Students who are successful at the end of their associate degree education are given a "Computer Programmer" diploma. Graduates of the department usually work as application programmers in almost every subject in the information processing centers in the sector. Our graduates can also work in jobs such as network programming and security programming.
