Child Development Department

It is a field that provides information about which knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors related to child development and education should be provided to children and young people at which age level, supports all developments of the child (physical, psycho-motor, mental, language, social and emotional), makes plans, implements, attaches importance to human relations and empathy, has information about child health and diseases, helps the development and adaptation of children in need of special education; does drama, simple physical education movements, music studies, art and mother tongue activities, and applies child recognition techniques.

Professionals can work in Anatolian girls' vocational and girls' vocational high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, primary schools, and pre-school education institutions such as nurseries, kindergartens, preschools, kindergarten classes and children's clubs of official and private institutions. Early childhood years (pre-school education) are the period when the child's development is the fastest. The field has developed rapidly due to women entering the workforce and the increasing understanding of the importance of pre-school education, which has increased the demand for pre-school education institutions. The need for qualified and well-trained personnel to work in these institutions is gaining importance day by day.
